Taken in a train on the return from Budapest. Playing around with the white balance brings out nice colors. :)

As you can see in the EXIF-info, the shoot was done with a Powershot A60 (2 mp). It looks pretty nice, so imagine how it would look with the Powershot G6 an 7mp! :D

Thanks for the fav!

Woot?! O_o You're shittin me! I was thinkin about getting a G6 after seing my bro's girlfriend's pictures, like this one: [link]
Have you considered buying an SLR-cam like Nikon D70 or Canon EOS 350D, or are you satisfied with the G6? I'm planning on getting myself a digicam, and I'm not sure if I should buy an expensive SLR right away or begin with a cheaper cam like the G6, since it's obviously a good cam. Any thoughts?

To be honest, with a D70 or a 350D you will get better looking images than a G6 can produce. I chose the G6 because I didn't want to invest that much money. If you buy a SLR you will see that you're not satisfied with one lens... and getting new lenses is costly. ;)
So it's up to your capital. :)

Yeah, I know... Can't afford investing €1.000's on a camera right now, gotta get a job! :P Kinda comforting to know that you can take hi-quality pics with the G6 though, since it's only like €6.000.

Wow this is absolutely amazing. This is such a cool looking shot. You said that it was taken in a trian, I'm totally racking my brain and I can't for the life of me see it. It almost looks more like you are standing between two trains. I love the colors as well. Keep it up man.

That's such a fabulous image, totally striking in so many ways. What gets me is the narrowness of the carriage... Is that normal in Budapest? The colours are immense, and the way the yellows kind of flick across the walls into the blue reminded me slightly of plasma (I think maybe this seemed more applicable in the thumbnail, but nevermind) You've got some wonderful shadow going on here too with such soft edges. I think you've managed to make a very rigid manmade structure have a completely different feeling :D nice work.
